The Story of Arch Painting:
Why We Do What We Do

I was first introduced to painting by a cousin many moons ago, when I was in high school. Although I enjoyed the work and loved the variety of being at different job sites in Massachusetts, I didn’t like the general reputation of painting contractors. Some were known, unfortunately, for their unprofessionalism and tendency to cut corners. The company I worked for did jobs at Harvard University, and being on campus inspired me to attend college and better myself.  So I continued painting while earning my degree.

The Birth of a New Kind of Painting Company

After graduating, I accepted various positions in my field of study, but something just didn’t feel authentic. My desire for freedom and flexibility didn’t quite jive with the rigid corporate environment. Finally, it occurred to me: I was most comfortable in my own skin when I was on a construction project, estimating jobs and impressing customers with the speed and quality of my work. Wanting to be true to who I was, I established Arch Painting.
